Types of Sessions & Groups

Individual Sessions:

We work with anyone aged 11 to 101, offering individual therapy online or by phone, in 50 minute sessions.

We work with all genders and are all affirming of gender fluid, non-binary, and trans identities.

We are all trained in a variety of therapy modalities and will use the most the most appropriate interventions with you at the right time. The most important part of work is building the relationship with you. We offer you a safe patient space where you can learn more about yourself; heal past traumas; learn to trust yourself and us; and build a life you love.

Sessions are usually weekly but a more flexible approach may be possibly depending on the therapist and their diary structure.

Parenting Support Sessions:

Parenting is hard! There are so many difficulties and stressors that can come along, some we might expect – arguments over homework or food choices – and some we might not – neurodivergence; self harm; low mood; bullying; and navigating social media are just a few suggestions. It is okay if you need some support with this and we can be just that support.

We offer parenting sessions as ad hoc standalone sessions, which you are welcome to book as and when suits, depending on therapist availability. These sessions are designed for parents who want a space to talk about and understand the specific challenges your young people are facing.

The sessions are 90 minutes sessions via zoom. We recommend you have a pen and paper available to make notes as we talk.

These sessions offer you a confidential place to offload, learn more about what your child might be dealing with (neurodivergence for example) and be offered strategies to work with your child if appropriate.

The benefit of working with a practice like ours is that you are able have these sessions with a therapist you can trust but who is not working with your child, so that your child can feel their space and privacy is maintained. If it is appropriate the therapist offering you a parenting session can discuss brief aspects with your child’s therapist, if your child is happy with this, offering you a more tailored understanding and approach to your child.

These sessions are available to you, even if your child is not currently working with us.

Group Wellbeing Support Sessions

It is our hope to offer online group wellbeing and support sessions in 2025. These sessions will be small groups of similar individuals with two facilitators, combining space to talk; a creative activity; and some psychoeducation.

We hope to offer groups for different needs including groups for adolescents; adults; neurodivergent humans; perimenopause support; and family support.
