Types of Online Therapy
At How to be Human Therapy Practice, each therapist has their own style of working, informed by their core training, experience, interests and their CPD (Continuing Professional Development). Read more about the types of online therapy we offer below.
Individual Sessions:
All of our therapists work with ages 18+ offering individual online sessions.
Demi works with 16+ and Abi works with 11+.
Some of our therapists also offer phone only sessions.
All individual sessions are 50 minutes in length.
We use an online diary management system so that you can contact your therapist securely, and see any sessions you have booked in,
with automatic reminders for all sessions being set out before your sessions.
We work with all genders and are all affirming of gender fluid, non-binary, and trans identities.
We are all trained in a variety of therapy modalities and will use the most the most appropriate interventions with you at the right time. The most important part of work is building the relationship with you. We offer you a safe patient space where you can learn more about yourself; heal past traumas; learn to trust yourself and us; and build a life you love.
Sessions are usually weekly but our therapists are happy to discuss this with you.
